Free virus software for Microsoft Windows 98., Me, 2000, Xp, 2003, and Vista is called Clamwin. A simple setup and open source code are included with Clamwin Free Antivirus. It is completely free to use and update. It has the following:

1. high spyware and virus sensing quotes,
2. Scheduler for Scanning,
3. immediate files of the influenza registry, which is regularly updated,
4. stand-alone disease scanner and Microsoft Windows Explorer right-click menu integration,
5. Add-in for Microsoft Outlook that mechanically removes attachments that are infected with viruses.

Please be aware that an on-access real-time detector is not included with Clamwin Free Antivirus. To find viruses or trojan, you must individually scan a register.
